Sheryl Fofaria is a seasoned philanthropy and social impact executive with more than 20 years of experience across the financial and impact sectors, with a significant focus on advising philanthropists, families and institutions on driving meaningful impact. She currently works for a Single Family Office in Singapore leading strategy, operations and philanthropic initiatives in Asia.
Prior to this, Sheryl led the Social Impact and Philanthropy team at UBS across Southeast Asia and was recognised as one of Citywealth's Top 10 Philanthropy Advisors globally in 2024. Earlier in her career, she led J.P. Morgan's Philanthropy Centre across Europe and the Middle East and worked on equity trading floors in London and Hong Kong, advising institutional investors and hedge funds on cross-asset macro and Asian equity strategies. Her commitment to impact is also rooted in hands-on experience managing a social enterprise programme focused on diversity, inclusion and social mobility.
Sheryl holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge and a postgraduate degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Born in Africa, educated in Europe, and having lived and worked across multiple regions, she brings a global perspective to her work and is passionate about innovative, entrepreneurial approaches to tackling social and environmental challenges.
