The Research Strategy Team, plays a central role in shaping and advancing ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's research ambitions. We support the development of institutional research strategy, strengthen engagement with funders and policymakers, and help position ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ to respond to emerging opportunities and global challenges.

Our work spans engagement with government departments, major funding agencies, philanthropic foundations, industry partners and international organisations, helping to build the collaborations and strategic partnerships that enable transformative research and innovation.

Through a coordinated and institution-wide approach to research development, we support the growth of high-impact research activity across ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's Faculties, Schools and Institutes, ensuring that researchers are equipped to compete successfully for major funding opportunities and deliver research that benefits society.

The Research Strategy Team helps shape and advance ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's research ambitions by identifying strategic opportunities, supporting major funding bids, and strengthening engagement with funders, policymakers and partners. We provide insight into emerging research and innovation trends, helping ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ respond to developments in the national and international funding landscape and position itself for future success.

Working across the university, we coordinate large-scale, cross-disciplinary research initiatives and foster strategic partnerships with government, industry, philanthropic organisations and leading institutions worldwide. Through this work, we help create the conditions for world-leading research, innovation and societal impact to thrive.
