ICEF makes seed investments in early-stage, high-growth, research-intensive businesses that have emerged from ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's enterprising ecosystem. These could be spinouts based directly on academic research or deep science businesses developed by students.
ICEF has invested in 12 companies to date through its first three funds.

How do the funds work?
³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Enterprise acts as an advisor to the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ College Enterprise Funds by sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities from ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s enterprising ecosystem.
Opportunities are reviewed by the fund’s Investment Committee, which makes the final recommendation on investments from the fund.
