Join us for ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’sÌýEngagement Day: Developing inclusive practice on Wednesday 11 November 2026.
Identifying and knowing your audience, who they are and what’s relevant to them, is crucial to successful engagement.Ìý But how can you ensure that the activities you run are inclusive of your audience’s background and needs?Ìý How can you identify and overcome access barriers to effectively engage with your target audience so that both you and they can benefit from the interaction?
From psychologically informed and participatory research approaches, to using craft and conversation to create connections between researchers and communities, this year’s Engagement Day is an opportunity to be challenged and inspired through a programme of workshops, discussions and networking.
With both internal and external speakers providing examples of new and innovative practice, learn from the lived experience of others to strengthen and improve your approach to societal engagement.
The day will include a panel discussion, interactive Deep Dive sessions in the morning and afternoon, Lightning Talks, and plenty of time to network with other attendees from across ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and beyond
Upon registering your place, you will be asked to select one Deep Dive for the morning and one for the afternoon from the options below. We encourage you to read the session descriptions on the Engagement Day webpage to inform your decision.
