Michelle Robson is a GP and Founding Partner with Odyssey Ventures, bringing a decade of experience funding and supporting DeepTech startups. Michelle spent her early career advising industrial, financial and life sciences executives on commercial growth and business development across Europe, the US and Australia. After moving to the UK in 2011, Michelle joined Anglo American to support the restructure of the $5 billion platinum business, the setup of the commodity trading business unit, and the foundation of the venture capital unit. In 2019 Michelle became a founding investor of AP Ventures, a leading European industrial and energy venture capital fund. For the last 10 years Michelle has been an investor, advisor and board member of deep-tech and climate-focused startups, supporting hugely ambitious founders to develop industry-disrupting technologies at the cutting edge of science and engineering, including Amogy, Immaterial, Aether Fuels, HPNow and AirHive. Michelle feels a deep responsibility to her founders and their teams, and works tirelessly to help them turn their visions into the industrial giants of the future.
Kerstin built the Deep Science Ventures therapeutics team and founded 12 therapeutics and enabling-technology companies, achieving the first exit. She has structured partnerships with AbbVie, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Cancer Research UK. Previously, she was a Principal at LifeArc in strategic intelligence and Commercialisation Lead at the Cell & Gene Therapy Catapult, where PureSpring raised over £40 million. Linden is CEO and founder of SOLVE Chemistry, a London-based start-up focused on enabling efficient chemical process development through automated high throughput data collection and machine learning methods.
After completing his undergraduate chemistry degree at Oxford, he moved to ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ to complete his PhD between chemistry, chemical engineering, and machine learning. His PhD research focused on developing methodology to efficiently collect data from chemical reactions, producing multiple peer reviewed papers and a patent, and receiving departmental thesis and presentation prizes. Since founding SOLVE Chemistry, Linden and the team have further improved their data collection and machine learning techniques providing data collection services, process insights automatically, and software to enable more efficient chemical process development.
SOLVE Chemistry raised their £4mn Seed Round led by XTX Ventures in late 2025 fueling expansion of their team to 15 employees, expansion of their automated lab, and supporting their product development. They launched their software beta in March 2026 and have procured 6-figure revenue for standalone and subscription data collection contracts from customers including big pharma companies and BASF.
