We are delighted to welcome Dr Santiago Zelenay, Senior Group Leader at the CRUK Manchester Institute, as a guest speaker at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.
Dr Zelenay’s research focuses on cancer inflammation and immunity, investigating the cellular signals and pathways that shape tumour environments and influence responses to immunotherapy. His work uniquely bridges fundamental immunology and clinical application, supported by close collaborations with oncologists at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust.
An internationally recognised leader in the field, Dr Zelenay leads the Cancer Immunology Branch of the Lydia Becker Institute and contributes to the CRUK Lung Cancer Centre of Excellence. He has received several prestigious awards, including the CRUK Future Leaders in Cancer Research Prize.
This event offers an excellent opportunity to hear cutting-edge insights into tumour immunology and its translational impact. All staff and students are warmly invited to attend.
