It is 70 years since the great smog of 1952, which killed at least 10,000 people, and 50 years since the last London smog in 1972.
This event at in Kennington will bring together experts on air quality and lung health from ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and Asthma + Lung UK, together with archive footage and witness testimony to help understand the implications of this event now and for the future.
The event is chaired by Professor Nick Hopkinson, Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the National Heart and Lung Institute.
