How it works
1. Pick your Hackathon
Choose the Hackathon that's right for your stage of education and experience: either the competition for high school students in grades 10–12 or the one for university students and early career professionals.
2. Register your interest
To take part, you'll need to register your interest by 24 September 2026. Registration gives you access to this year's challenge brief and is the first step towards submitting your team's entry to the competition.
3. Choose your challenge
Explore this year's challenge themes and decide which problem most inspires you. Register by the deadline to receive the full challenge brief, the judging criteria, and more.
How it works
4. Form your team
Build a team with a mix of skills and strengths, from creative thinkers and problem-solvers to communicators and leaders.
5. Develop your solution
Work together to research, test and refine your ideas for the challenge. Combine your skills and creativity to develop an innovative solution with real-world impact.
6. Submit your team entry
Submit a 150-word proposal and 3–5 minute video pitch. Show the judges why your team deserves a place in the Grand Final in Hong Kong in November 2026.
