The Division of Neurology is dedicated to delivering world-leading research that advances our understanding of neurological disease and translates scientific discoveries into meaningful improvements in patient care. By bridging the gap between laboratory science and clinical practice, we aim to develop innovative diagnostic tools, treatments, and healthcare interventions that improve outcomes for individuals living with neurological disorders.
Our Division brings together internationally recognised non-clinical scientists, clinician scientists, and academic neurologists working across a broad spectrum of research areas, including epilepsy, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease, and neurogenetic and neuroinflammatory disorders.
Through multidisciplinary collaboration and the application of cutting-edge approaches spanning molecular and cellular neuroscience, genetics, neuroimaging, computational biology, clinical trials, and population health research, we seek to address some of the most pressing challenges in neurology.
