Transport disruption Tuesday 2 June and Thursday 4 June 2026

Strikes are planned on the Tube on Tuesday 2 June and Thursday 4 June 2026. 

If the strikes go ahead, no service is expected on the Circle line, the Piccadilly line, the Metropolitan line between Baker Street and Aldgate, and the Central line between White City and Liverpool Street. Service is expected on all other lines, and service levels will vary across the Tube network. Please check before you travel and stay up to date with . 

Normal service is expected on Monday 1 June, Wednesday 3 June and Friday 5 June. 

Graduation Days, Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 June  

Please note that the strike dates coincide with the first of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s Graduation Days on Tuesday 2 June.  

Everyone attending the ceremonies – staff, students and visitors – are advised to allow extra time for their journeys. 

Normal service is expected on Wednesday 3 June. 

Staff guidance   

Staff should discuss with their line manager whether working remotely is appropriate. After this discussion, if staff are expected to be onsite, they should make all reasonable efforts to attend.   

Student guidance   

Students should expect all activities to continue as planned during the Tube strikes. Departments and student services will communicate any necessary changes directly to those affected.
