Identifying the Climate Gamechangers for a Post Net-Zero World: ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ College academics were joined by our partners at Hitachi and colleagues from industry and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) at an event to launch the new Hitachi-³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Centre for Decarbonisation and Natural Climate Solutions.

New Hitachi-³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Centre

The Hitachi-³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Centre for Decarbonisation and Natural Climate Solutions is a collaboration between Hitachi Ltd, Hitachi Europe and ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ with the goal of aiding the transition to net zero pollution.

The ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ-Iota-Infrastructures Lab (I3 Lab)

The I3-Lab was founded in 2022 with a generous donation from the IOTA Foundation, and is a joint initiative between the Dyson School of Design Engineering, the IOTA Foundation, the Transition to Zero Pollution initiative, and industry partners. The lab will be a lighthouse for translational research activities in the area of the circular economy.

InFUSE EPSRC Prosperity Partnership

³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, Shell and Diamond Light Source have launched an EPSRC-funded Programme, InFUSE, on materials and processes for the energy transition. The programme will examine how technologies like batteries, electric vehicles, chemical production, and carbon capture and storage can be improved by understanding interfaces in these systems.
