³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ

The functions of the team comprise:

Research Security: The Research Security team develops and delivers ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s strategy, policy, and processes for research security. The team provides expert advice on research security matters and is responsible for the policy, governance, and assurance of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s research security framework, including compliance with export control legislation.

Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs): Negotiate inbound MTAs across all Faculties. Provide guidance to academic staff on material transfers, and offer specialist MTA advice and support to Research Services.

EU Contracts: Provide specialist contractual expertise for EU research and innovation funding, particularly Horizon Europe. Negotiate Consortium Agreements to ensure ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s interests are protected, and advise on EU grant and contract requirements in line with ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ policies.
