sLoLa consortium meets in Liverpool

Members of the sLoLa consortium gathered in Liverpool on 5 June 2026 for the project’s six-month meeting. Researchers from ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, the University of Liverpool and the University of Sheffield came together to review progress across the project’s three work packages: the molecular bioenergetics of far-red photosystems, the chlorophyll f and chlorophyll d synthases, and far-red photosynthesis as a system.
The meeting gave the teams a chance to share results, coordinate work between the genetic, biochemical, spectroscopic and structural strands of the project, and plan the next phase of research.
