You should already be familiar with the present and past tenses of regular and irregular verbs, as well as conditionals, future forms, the present subjunctive, simple and complex prepositions, and articles.

Course overview

Exploring the Real Italy combines Italian language development with the discovery of Italy's rich culture, regional traditions and authentic travel experiences. Through carefully selected materials, students will explore lesser-known destinations, local food, shopping customs and everyday Italian life while building confidence in using the language.

Rather than a conversation class, each session is centred on a specific cultural or travel theme, providing structured opportunities to develop speaking, listening and vocabulary through engaging, interactive classroom activities and real-life scenarios.

The sessions are designed to be dynamic with interactive activities in the classroom, covering a wide range or scenarios and topics, with the tutor directing and moderating the content depending on the development of skills across the whole group.

By the end of the course our aim is to have you communicating at B2 standard as described in the Common European Framework.
