Course overview
This course aims to extend and consolidate your existing Hindi language skills, further developing your knowledge of Hindi vocabulary and grammar. You will also continue to develop your ability to read and write basic words in Hindi script.
You will learn how to express and talk about your abilities, express your wishes and discuss your holiday plans. You will also learn how to talk about your likes and dislikes, and how to express what you or someone else needs.
You will develop practical language skills for use in shops, including asking for things you need and asking about prices. You will also practise writing words and sentences by listening to them, helping you to develop your understanding of spoken Hindi and your ability to write what you hear.
All sessions are taught in a practical, enjoyable and engaging way, with plenty of opportunities to practise your spoken and written Hindi.
Whether you have family connections to India, are planning a visit, are interested in Indian culture, or have professional contact with the Hindi-speaking world, this course offers an ideal opportunity to develop your Hindi language skills.
