Our Mission

Our mission is to solve the unprecedented challenges of the 21st century by providing world-class research, inclusive and inspirational education, and cutting-edge innovation in Earth Science and Engineering.

Our History

ESE is part of the (est. 1851), which officially became part of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ College in 1907. For 175 years, geoscientists and engineers at the Royal School of Mines and then ESE (est. 2001) have excelled in disciplines concerning Earth Sciences and Engineering.
