³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ

Established in October 2024, and part of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Talent, ECRI delivers inclusive and comprehensive support for ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s community of early career researchers (postgraduate research students to research staff).    

ECRI aims to create a collaborative and dynamic research environment that drives discovery and addresses the urgent challenges of the 21st century.  The institute will support ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ in creating a healthy, supportive and productive research environment for early career researchers.  We will invest in research and enterprise-focused learning and development opportunities, resources and facilities to deliver an exceptional experience.  

Building on existing excellence, a key part of the work of ECRI will be to:

• advance the higher education sector’s approach to enabling a healthy, supportive and productive research environment and the development of early career researchers.
• collaborate with experts across ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, as well as external partners, to deliver a world-leading environment and add value to research teams across the university.
• work in partnership with wider ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ specialist teams, to advocate for early career researchers as well as to deliver opportunities for individuals to develop the skills needed for a broad range of careers within academia and beyond.
