Eugenia is a Software Engineer (Backend) at Attest. She currently works in the data-quality team, which is concerned with respondent reach and respondent quality. Before joining Attest, she undertook the MSc Computing Science at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.

ABSTRACT
The talk will cover what moden software engineering entails, informed by a year of building user-facing applications in a production environment. It will focus on how being an engineer is not just writing lines of code (writing "solutions"). It will expand on something that's key in software engineering: at the heart of what we do lies the importance of being a strong problem-definer and problem-solver.
