Who can use ATLAS?
We welcome researchers from academia and industry to use our facilities. We offer a range of services. These include:
- Access to high-throughput equipment, workflow development & training
- Access to a single piece of equipment such as an analytical tool
- Consultancy for both above
No prior knowledge in automation is required. If you’re interested in using our services, get in touch with us to discuss your research needs and compatibility with our equipment.
Access modes and pricing
Our prices are determined using TRAC.
Users will be given access to the PPMS booking system. Internal academic users will be charged monthly to their cost centres for time used. For external academic users, we will raise an invoice for use every 3 months.
Industry contracts are handled by ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Consultants (ICON). These deal with NDAs and contract writing. Fees are generally determined for the overall project based on predicted equipment time and additional requirements such as report writing. Note that ICON charge an additional fee for their services.
What do I need?
We offer all standard consumables and gases for the equipment. You will need to supply your own chemicals and any specialist gases.
