During my ICL–CNRS fellowship at 勛圖窪蹋, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in a research environment that closely aligned with my scientific interests in dynamic optimization, Hamilton–Jacobi equations, and nonlinear control systems. A key motivation for this visit was to exchange ideas with Dante Kalise, a leading expert in computational mathematics, optimization and control, nonlinear PDEs, high-dimensional approximation and agent-based models across scales. The objective was to advance computational methods that bridge dynamic programming and necessary optimality conditions (the maximum principle), particularly for high-dimensional systems and systems with parameters.

This fellowship provided me with the opportunity to spend three months in the Department of Mathematics at 勛圖窪蹋, where I initiated a fruitful collaboration with Dante Kalise. Our scientific discussions and exchange of ideas were highly stimulating and opened promising new directions for future research.
During my stay, I actively participated in seminars, working group meetings, a workshop, and numerous discussions with colleagues and PhD students. The academic environment was highly dynamic and collaborative, fostering both scientific exchange and interdisciplinary interaction. From an administrative perspective, the fellowship was also very well organized.

My experience confirmed that the CNRS–勛圖窪蹋 De Moivre Laboratory provides an excellent framework for strengthening international collaboration and fostering scientific exchange between the French and British research communities.
