What does it take to become a leader in a rapidly evolving specialist field? At �ԹϺ�� Business School, a new cohort is bringing together their global perspectives, diverse experiences and innovative ideas as they embark on the next chapter of their professional journeys.

This year, we welcomed 670 bright individuals to our Specialised Master’s programmes, looking to hone their skills and lead in range of growing sectors – from analytics and healthcare to entrepreneurship and sustainability.

Over the next year of their Master’s journey, students will take core and elective modules to deepen their knowledge in a range of specialist areas. They will also have the chance to apply their new skills to real business challenges through consulting projects and optional work placements. This expertise coupled with �ԹϺ��’s unique STEMB foundation and bespoke career support will prepare the cohort to excel in a competitive job market.

MSc Business Analytics & AI

This year, 151 students joined our MSc Business Analytics & AI programme, of which over half are female (52%), from 34 nationalities across Asia/Pacific (56%), Europe (24%), the UK (8%), Americas (7%) and Africa/Middle East (5%).

With them, they bring a wealth of experience from various degree backgrounds, enriching their classroom discussions and broadening their perspectives. Backgrounds include Engineering/Technology (45%), Business/Management (17%), Economics (17%), Science/Medicine/Mathematics (11%), Finance/Accounting (9%) and Arts/Humanities (1%).

What sparked your interest in business analytics and AI, and how do you see these technologies shaping the future of business?

My curiosity and passion stem from my experiences leading up to my master's studies. The B.Tech at VIT Chennai sparked my interest in the intersection of engineering, technology and problem-solving. And the work I undertook at Schneider Electric made me increasingly curious about the bigger questions behind technology. I want to know what problems are worth solving, how data can improve decisions and how technology can create meaningful impact across a business.

My experience in software engineering has shown me that technology creates the most value when it addresses a genuine user or business need. I believe AI will reinforce this principle, and increasingly, data and AI will be used to make business decisions. With that in mind, businesses will need professionals who understand what technology can do while also being able to evaluate its commercial impact, question assumptions and communicate decisions effectively.

This is what drew me to the MSc Business Analytics & AI programme at �ԹϺ�� Business School. The programme sits perfectly at the intersection of technology, analytics and business decision-making and I was particularly attracted by the programme’s combination of rigorous technical learning and practical business application. The opportunity to develop skills in areas such as machine learning, optimisation and decision models, while also applying them to real business challenges, was especially relevant to my goals.

What are you looking forward to during your time at �ԹϺ��?

I’m particularly looking forward to getting involved with the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Club because it closely reflects my interests and career goals. It’d be great to gain insight into how technology businesses evolve, how emerging technologies affect different industries and how organisations turn technological developments into business opportunities.

Having previously worked in Bengaluru, another major technology hub, studying in London is also something I’m really looking forward to taking advantage of. As a global hub for business and technology, I'm able to learn about a different business ecosystem and understand how organisations operate across international markets. I think this perspective will be valuable as I build a career working with technology and business.

How do you think the MSc Business Analytics & AI programme will help you to achieve your career goals?

My goal is to move into product or technology consulting roles, where I can combine my software engineering experience with the analytical and business skills I am developing at �ԹϺ��.

The MSc Business Analytics & AI is helping me build that bridge between technology and business. The Machine Learning module will help me develop a stronger understanding of how analytical models can be applied to real business problems and the applied Analytics in Business Capstone project, and Consulting Project, allow me to work on practical business problems and allow me to apply my learnings outside the classroom.

With opportunities to also strengthen my coding skills in Python and SQL ensures that the programme here will equip me with the skills and knowledge I need to succeed.

Going forward, I hope to explore roles in technology-driven industries such as enterprise software, fintech, healthcare technology and energy, where emerging technologies are creating opportunities to rethink how businesses operate.

MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance

Our MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance programme welcomed 164 students, with 61% being female, from 40 nationalities across the globe, including Asia/Pacific (48%), the UK (20%), Europe (16%), Americas (13%) and Africa/Middle East (3%).

This diversity continues into their backgrounds too, with students holding degrees in Science/Medicine (22%), Economics (20%), Business/Management (19%), Engineering/Technology (15%), Finance/Accounting (13%) and Arts/Humanities (11%).

Why did you choose to study the MSc Climate Change, Management and Finance programme at �ԹϺ�� Business School?

After working on sustainability and climate change in different settings – including volunteering, non-profit organisations and private companies – I realised the complexity of the topic. Having a clear understanding of the science behind both the causes and consequences of the climate crisis is more crucial than ever to developing effective solutions to this issue.

The MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance programme at �ԹϺ�� Business School responded perfectly to this need. The programme equips graduates with both the scientific foundation and the practical skills necessary to work in this field.

Over the course of the next year, I will be exposed to the foundations of climate science and have the opportunity to study multiple areas within this sector, including climate policy, green finance and sustainable management. The programme also gives us the unique chance to collaborate with industry leaders and other members of our cohort in an academically rigorous and welcoming environment.

What is the advantage of studying at an interdisciplinary STEMB university for those wishing to make an impact in the climate sector?

We live in a world where our most pressing issues, such as the climate crisis, are intersectional and span across a multitude of knowledge areas. Given this complex context, �ԹϺ�� has set a clear ambition of developing impactful science for humanity, and collaboration is a key component of its success.

As a world-leading STEMB institution, it is common to see different departments working together, which is reflected in our training. For example, the MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance programme draws on the strengths of �ԹϺ�� and the Grantham Institute to train its graduates not only in the management and financial aspects of climate change, but also in the foundational scientific knowledge of this area. With multidisciplinary learning experiences on areas like quantitative methods and climate science adds immense value to our studies and prepares us to tackle complex issues in our future careers.

On top of this, regular guest lectures with industry leaders and events run by the Careers team allow us to network with professional in the field and demonstrates the need for climate action professionals across every industry. I’m looking forward to seeing what possible opportunities are open to me in areas like sustainability consulting, renewable energy, public policy and NGOs and non-profits.

How does the MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance programme align with your career goals?

The programme builds on my accounting and regulatory experience, preparing me for an international career in climate risk and finance. In particular, the Carbon Accounting and Reporting module interests me because of my background as an accountant. I want to deepen my understanding of how climate and environmental information is measured and reported using recognised international standards.

Looking ahead to my future career, I hope to combine my regulatory experience with what I learn from �ԹϺ�� to support emerging markets. In many countries, data, technical knowledge and regulatory frameworks for climate risk are still developing. I would like to help adapt international practices to local needs because the same solution may not work everywhere. Coming from Peru, I understand how important it is to consider the local context.

As an international student, why did you choose to study in the UK, and how has your experience matched your expectations?

I chose to study in the UK because of the quality of its universities and the opportunity to gain an international education. London was especially attractive to me because of its diversity and position as a global centre for finance and an important hub for sustainability and climate finance. For my career interests, it offers the chance to learn in a place where many financial institutions, regulators, international organisations and sustainability professionals are based.

In my first few weeks, I've met classmates from many parts of the world and from many different professional backgrounds, including engineers, scientists, economists and finance professionals. I have already seen how much we can learn from each other.

Matt Willis

Where has your passion for tackling climate change come from, and how does �ԹϺ�� align with where you want to go in your career?

During my undergraduate studies I specialised early on in sustainability after organising a summit centred on sustainable economics in my first year, which gave me a real passion for issues in the space. I've carried this momentum into postgraduate study to further my education and expand my skillset.

And since starting, my career goals have already shifted from when I applied. What’s becoming apparent is that there’s real uncertainty surrounding the full effects of climate change, and the evolving global landscape means new financial and policy tools are constantly emerging while others are becoming less effective.

The MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance programme will give me the ideal toolkit to become a dynamic leader who can operate effectively in a space with that much variance. Currently, I am exploring the energy transition, specifically capital deployment to renewables infrastructure, as well as carbon credit markets, which have always interested me. I am particularly excited for the Finance in CleanTech investment module on the programme, as it’s such a unique module and guides you through models with real cases from industry.

How are you hoping to get involved with the wider �ԹϺ�� community?

I’m hoping to join several clubs and societies whilst I’m at �ԹϺ��. The Positive Investment �ԹϺ�� club puts me in an environment with investment professionals, who I hope to learn from to better prepare myself for the job market. I’d also like to get involved with the Undaunted Climate Solutions Catalyst. Based at �ԹϺ��’s White City campus and the Grantham Institute, the initiative assists startups in the climate space and provides the opportunity to scale climate innovation – another standout advantage of �ԹϺ��’s environment and partnerships.

MSc Global Health Management

What is your professional background and why did you choose to study MSc Global Health Management at �ԹϺ�� Business School?

My background spans healthcare consulting, MedTech strategy and biotech communications across Washington D.C., Hong Kong and New York. After completing my BSc in Biology and International Development at McGill, I worked at Mercer, where I conducted cost and utilisation analyses, strategised benefit plan designs and managed relationships across client accounts. These experiences gave me strong commercial instincts, but they also revealed gaps in my understanding of the economic and policy frameworks that underpin healthcare systems. I chose �ԹϺ�� Business School’s MSc Global Health Management deliberately to close those gaps.

�ԹϺ�� is a STEMB institution, known for its blend of science, technology and business expertise – how do you think this will add value to your studies and future career?

�ԹϺ��'s STEMB identity is precisely what drew me to it over other business schools. My career interests in life sciences consulting and biotech venture sit at the exact intersection of science, technology and business that �ԹϺ�� embodies. �ԹϺ��'s scientific heritage means the business education here is grounded in scientific rigour. Access to cutting-edge research in genomics, diagnostics and digital health is a genuine differentiator I would not have at a traditional business school.

Looking further ahead, �ԹϺ��'s STEMB positioning is building precisely the capability that biotech venture demands: the ability to evaluate scientific promise alongside commercial potential.

Which Concentration are you planning to choose and why?

I choose the Innovation & Enterprise concentration, and the decision was rooted in where I want to take my career. My near-term goal is life sciences strategy consulting, advising biopharma, MedTech and diagnostics companies on the strategic and commercial questions that determine whether an innovation reaches patients.

My longer-term ambition is to move into biotech venture, evaluating early-stage companies and supporting the translation of breakthrough science into real-world impact. Innovation & Enterprise will give me frameworks to understand how healthcare innovations are developed, commercialised and scaled, alongside the entrepreneurial and investment thinking the venture world demands.

Thanatut (Ollie) Thongdeelert

Nationality: Thai
Education: Khon Kaen University, PharmD Doctor of Pharmacy

What is your professional background and why did you choose to study your MSc Global Health Management at �ԹϺ�� Business School?

I’ve spent over six years in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently working as trade marketing manager in vaccine portfolio. My experience has focused on developing marketing strategies, working with healthcare professionals and cross-functional teams and leading initiatives to improve awareness and access to preventive healthcare.

Through this experience, I became increasingly interested in the bigger picture of healthcare, particularly how business strategy, policy and health systems shape access and outcomes. I chose the MSc Global Health Management at �ԹϺ�� Business School because the curriculum brings these areas together and allows me to build on my industry experience while developing a broader understanding of global healthcare.

Which projects or modules are you most excited about and why?

My goal is to develop my career in international healthcare strategy and management, where I can combine my industry experience with a broader understanding of healthcare systems and business strategy.

I’m particularly interested in modules that look into health policy and digital health, as they allow me to explore how policy, technology and innovation can shape healthcare delivery and improve access to care. I’m also looking forward to the Healthcare Sector Project, where I’ll have the opportunity to apply what I’ve learned to a real-world healthcare challenge and further develop my strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition, I value the opportunity to connect with professionals from diverse backgrounds, which will broaden my perspective, strengthen my international network and prepare me for the next stage of my career.

Which Concentration are you planning to choose and why?

I chose the Management concentration because I wanted to strengthen my strategic thinking, leadership and understanding of how healthcare organisations operate and manage change.

It complements my pharmaceutical marketing experience while allowing me to develop a broader business perspective. I’m particularly interested in applying these skills to complex healthcare challenges where commercial, organisational and patient needs intersect. I believe the Management concentration will prepare me well for my goal of moving into international healthcare strategy and ultimately, contributing to better and more sustainable healthcare solutions.

MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management

This year, our MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management cohort comprises 204 students from 52 nationalities. These ambitious individuals have chosen to join us at �ԹϺ�� from various countries, including Asia/Pacific (52%), Europe (25%), Americas (10%), Africa/Middle East (8%) and the UK (5%).

The cohorts experience will be further enhanced through their rich and diverse backgrounds in Business/Management (46%), Engineering/Technology (25%), Arts/Humanities (10%), Economics (7%), Finance/Accounting (7%) and Science/Medicine (5%).

What inspired you to start your own venture and how will �ԹϺ��’s MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management help you to develop this idea?

After finishing my undergraduate degree, I spent around five years working in management consulting in Qatar and I specialised in digital and AI transformation projects for public sector clients across the Gulf region.

Somewhere along this journey, I realised that I wanted to build something of my own, which is what pushed me towards pursuing my postgraduate study at this stage of my career.

The MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management programme aligns quite closely with what I want to do next, which is launch my own venture. The curriculum is built around that goal through a variety of modules like Design Thinking for Innovation & Impact, New Venture Creation and Technology and Innovation Management – all of which will provide us with the skillset and the frameworks to think critically about problems and work hands-on by walking through the discovery, development and launch of a real business idea across the year. Alongside the coursework, I'm planning to make full use of the �ԹϺ�� Enterprise Lab, which connects students to networks, mentors and entrepreneurial experiences.

Between the academic grounding and that practical support system, I feel like this programme gives me both the theory and the runway to actually get my idea off the ground this year.

Ayesha Noor Fatima

Nationality: Pakistani

What role does the Enterprise Lab play in helping you to develop your business ideas or entrepreneurial skills?

I see the Enterprise Lab as the place where I can take an idea out of my head and see whether it works. I want to use the year to develop a social-impact venture idea, but more importantly, I want to put it through the uncomfortable process of testing it, speaking to potential users, challenging my assumptions and being willing to change the idea if the evidence tells me to.

I’m particularly interested in using the Enterprise Lab’s mentoring and workshops to get practical guidance as I work through those stages. I’d also like to explore the �ԹϺ�� Venture Mentoring Service and opportunities such as the Venture Catalyst Challenge to get feedback from people who have built and scaled businesses.

My goal isn’t to leave the Enterprise Lab with a polished business plan. I’d much rather leave with evidence: a clearer understanding of the problem, feedback from real users, a tested proposition and an idea on if I can continue building it after completing my master’s.

How does �ԹϺ��’s London location enhance your experience as a student?

What appeals to me most about studying in London is that the learning doesn’t stop when I leave the classroom. Being at one of the world’s major startup and investment ecosystem means I can see many of the ideas I encounter at �ԹϺ�� being applied in the real world. There are constantly events, talks and conferences around AI, deep tech, emerging technologies and entrepreneurship.

Academically, I think this will add another dimension to my experience at �ԹϺ��. I’ll be able to take something I learn in class and then see how it is being applied by a startup, investor or organisation outside the classroom.

Personally, I’m looking forward to the independence and diversity that London offers. I want to use my year here to meet people from different backgrounds, travel and explore new ideas and build new hobbies. I think those experiences will make me more open-minded, more confident and ultimately a better builder and future investor.

Julia Langeland

How do you plan to use the network and resources at �ԹϺ�� to support your entrepreneurial ambitions? 

I hope to use �ԹϺ��’s network to expand my perspective beyond my existing experience in engineering and learn from people with different areas of expertise. My professional background has given me a good understanding of the technical and product development side of healthcare, but I want to build stronger connections with people working in areas such as entrepreneurship, finance, strategy and investment. Learning from their experiences would help me better understand the decisions involved in turning an idea into a viable business.

�ԹϺ��’s combination of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and business is also particularly valuable to me because my career has always been rooted in the technical side of healthcare. With a background in bioengineering and several years of experience developing medical devices, I’ve seen firsthand that creating a successful product requires much more than solving the engineering problem. I’m excited by the opportunity to learn alongside people working on cutting-edge scientific and technological challenges and to understand how research can translate into commercial opportunities.

What’s your advice to future applicants of the MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management programme at �ԹϺ��?

For the interview and essay questions, I found it useful to reflect on my previous experiences and understand the key lessons I had taken from them, while also trying to let my personality shine. My advice to future applicants would be to be specific about why you are applying. Think about what gaps you want the programme to fill and how the degree connects to your future goals.

For international students, start the visa application process as early as possible. This gives you plenty of time to complete any necessary steps and ensure that your visa is issued before you travel to the UK. It is also important to keep in mind that having your visa may be necessary for other aspects of your move, such as securing accommodation.

Securing this scholarship

When I first learned that I had secured this scholarship, a rush of emotions washed over me, swinging between profound disbelief and overwhelming relief. As an international student, the significance of financial stability cannot be overstated. It's not just about pursuing an education; it's about leaving behind everything you've ever known and immersing yourself in a new country, all while trying to balance expectations.

Receiving this scholarship was akin to a lifeline, and it's difficult to put into words the immense relief that I experienced. It felt like a validation of all the hard work, sacrifices, and dedication I had poured into my academic & career journey so far. It was a moment when the weight of uncertainty was lifted, and I could breathe easier, knowing that I had the financial support I needed to pursue my dreams.

My motivations for applying for this scholarship

During my scholarship search, I found The Bright Network scholarship, which focuses on strong leadership principles. It resonated with me due to my experiences at Amazon. My time at Amazon has not only honed my leadership skills, but also inspired me to excel in business leadership. It serves as a catalyst for my aspirations, propelling me toward academic achievement and impactful leadership in my career.

What this scholarship means to me

This scholarship holds immense significance for me. As an international student, managing finances can be an arduous challenge, especially in a vibrant, multicultural city like London, where the allure of art, business, and philosophy events constantly beckons. The scholarship has alleviated the financial strain, providing a sense of stability that allows me to truly immerse myself in both my academic and personal pursuits.

Concerning my academic goals, the scholarship has granted me the freedom to channel my focus entirely into my studies, enabling me to strive for excellence beyond the ordinary. This newfound financial security has instilled a profound sense of confidence in my abilities, affirming my potential like never before.

On a personal level, I'm now eager to expand my horizons further. I plan to seize the opportunity to enrol in additional adult education courses offered by �ԹϺ�� London, delving into creative arts, philosophy, and audio engineering—a passion I've nurtured since my teenage years. Our Specialised Masters' programmes are thoughtfully designed for students aiming to gain both theoretical and practical expertise in some of today’s fastest-growing industries. This September, we welcomed five new cohorts to �ԹϺ�� Business School, all excited to embark on their journey towards mastering their fields and building successful careers in their chosen sectors.

The Specialised Masters’ suite covers a wide range of subjects. The programmes available are:

As they embark on their academic journeys, students will engage with a rich variety of core modules, electives, and hands-on projects. This curriculum not only broadens their expertise in their chosen fields but also equips them with the skills needed to excel in prominent organisations or to create impactful start-ups that contribute to positive change worldwide.

MSc Business Analytics

Ranked 8th globally in the QS Business Master’s Rankings 2025 for Business Analytics, the MSc Business Analytics at �ԹϺ�� equips graduates for a future where data-driven decision-making is paramount. While the programme is rooted in robust technical and quantitative training, it also emphasises practical application through sector-focused electives and projects, allowing students to customise their learning experience.

Students can choose between a one-year, full-time programme on our London campus or a part-time, two-year online option that offers the flexibility to study from anywhere in the world.

This year’s full-time, on-campus Business Analytics programme achieved strong female representation (47% female) and has students from a wide variety of academic backgrounds, with the most common degrees being: Engineering / Technology, Business / Management and Science / Medicine / Maths. The programme has 85 students from 32 nationalities and an average age of 23.

The online, part-time Business Analytics programme has 32 students, from 21 nationalities, with 62% female representation and an average age of 27. Many of these students choose to take advantage of the part-time nature of the programme and continue working in their current roles, where they can apply the learnings to their day-to-day projects.

What motivated you to choose online education at �ԹϺ�� Business School?

I was drawn to the online learning experience at �ԹϺ�� because it allowed me to receive a world-class education while continuing my academic career as a teaching assistant. This programme has provided me with tools to tackle real-world problems, which I’ve been able to apply directly in my job. Moreover, it has enriched my teaching by enabling me to demonstrate how these problems are solved to my students.

How have you found online learning so far?

The Hub (the �ԹϺ�� virtual learning platform) has been an excellent learning platform. It provides access to lectures, core and supplementary readings, and timely feedback from the teaching assistant teams. My experience in the programme has exceeded my expectations—professors and TAs are always responsive, even when my questions extend beyond their direct areas of expertise.

How have you built connections and networked with your peers and professors?

I had the opportunity to meet my classmates during the welcome week in London, which was a fantastic start to building strong connections. We stay in touch regularly through our WhatsApp group, where we support each other with challenging topics. Additionally, we participate in live classes every two weeks, where we can engage with professors directly. If further questions arise, professors are always prompt in responding to emails, creating a great sense of community.

MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance

Our MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance is a one year, full-time programme informed by our expert advisory board of industry leaders. Drawing on expertise from across the Business School, the Grantham Institute, and �ԹϺ�� London, this interdisciplinary programme explores the challenges and opportunities climate change presents, and how students can face these head-on.

This year’s cohort is made up of 146 students, with 56% of those students being female. A truly global cohort, 39 nationalities are represented in the class, with an average age of 25.

Why did you choose to study MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance at �ԹϺ�� Business School?

I chose to study MSc Climate Change, Management, and Finance at �ԹϺ�� Business School because it uniquely combines my passion for sustainability with a practical, business-oriented perspective. With a background in Environmental Studies and Sustainability, I felt driven to deepen my understanding of the impacts of climate change on business and society, as well as the actions needed to address these challenges.

The programme’s interdisciplinary approach allows me to understand complex environmental issues through the lens of finance and management. �ԹϺ��'s strong reputation in sustainability and finance solidified my decision, as I knew it would provide me with the tools and connections to achieve my long-term goal of establishing an environmental consulting firm dedicated to sustainable development in Senegal.

How're you finding the programme so far?

So far, the programme has been both intense and incredibly rewarding. Balancing academics with job applications, networking, and maintaining a social life is demanding, but the Business School offers extensive support, from Careers services to mental health resources, ensuring students can thrive.

Content-wise, the programme has proven to be the ideal blend of business and sustainability; we explore various business sectors through the lens of climate change, examining how each intersects with sustainability. It requires strong time management and organisational skills to keep up with deadlines and group projects. Still, with a highly structured schedule and the supportive �ԹϺ�� community, I feel equipped to handle the pace.

We have a weekly social reception, which has become an enjoyable part of my routine, helping me balance social interaction with my academic workload. With such a diverse and motivated cohort, I have found an inspiring network of classmates who are just as passionate about the environment and eager to discuss anything from the latest climate policies to fashion trends.

What was your highlight from Induction Week?

Our Welcome Day at the Science Museum stands out as an unforgettable experience. We were introduced to life at �ԹϺ�� while enjoying breakfast and exploring the museum’s exhibitions, which created an exciting and welcoming atmosphere. Meeting students from various programmes and taking our headshots added to the day’s charm, making us feel part of the �ԹϺ�� community.

Another significant highlight was the “This is the Way” sessions, where we learned about different industries, including finance, energy, and technology. These sessions were invaluable for understanding the career landscape within these sectors and learning how to stand out in job applications.

Why did you choose to study MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance at �ԹϺ�� Business School?

The journey towards sustainability is as much a personal transformation as it is a global one. Mine was sparked from the vantage point of Hambacher Forest. I gazed upon one of the largest strip mines in Germany and grasped what is meant by the exploitation of our planet. Participating in multiple rallies reflects not merely my commitment to the just transition, but also embodies my ethos: to critically engage with contentious issues and, if necessary, to deviate from societal norms for ethical integrity.

My journey thus far reflects a blend of analytical rigor and pragmatic, innovative problem-solving. At �ԹϺ�� Business School, I seek to deepen this synthesis.

Specifically, MSc Climate Change, Management & Finance with its unique, impact-driven and enterprise-centric syllabus, is tailored to my professional trajectory.

What was your highlight from Induction Week?

While the Induction Week had its share of standout moments—like having the Science Museum reserved just for us, exploring the campus for the first time, and attending the scholarship breakfast—what truly resonated with me was, and I can’t stress this point enough, the opportunity to meet so many impressive, forward-thinking, and inspiring individuals.

Engaging with such a dynamic group of people has been the highlight for me. People are my greatest source of both satisfaction and learning, and being surrounded by such a cohort is not only rewarding but also a privilege.

How does it feel to be studying in London?

The first time I walked through South Kensington, I felt like I’d stepped into a postcard. With its iconic museums and elegant townhouses, the area is undeniably impressive. Passing through Hyde Park brought a refreshing change—just moments from London’s bustle, I found myself in a vast green space with only the occasional cyclist speeding by. That contrast highlighted London’s unique blend of energy and calm, and my impressions since then have only deepened. Studying here is an incredible experience, and I’m excited to dive further into the city’s culture and vibrancy.

On a professional level, being in London offers unparalleled access to top institutions and businesses. I look forward to engaging in �ԹϺ��’s programmes, challenges, and clubs, and connecting with the many companies based here. As a global financial hub with strong European ties and flexibility in its own regulatory landscape—especially around sustainability—London uniquely blends innovation with policy, making it the ideal place to learn, grow, and help shape future developments.

MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management

MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management at �ԹϺ�� is designed to empower the next generation of venture founders, venture builders, innovators, and investors to create and grow new business opportunities while considering the implications of social and environmental factors.

As well as the varied programme content, there are many opportunities for students to get involved in �ԹϺ��’s dynamic enterprising culture including the �ԹϺ�� Enterprise Lab.

This year’s cohort of 121 students come from across the world, representing 40 different nationalities with 59% female students and an average age of 24.

The programme fosters a shared passion for entrepreneurship among all students, regardless of their prior experience.

Why did you choose to study MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship, & Management at �ԹϺ�� Business School?

After graduating with a degree in Economics, I embraced a range of opportunities, gaining experience in renewable energy, boutique consulting, family real estate, and the NGO sector. While not a traditional path, these roles provided invaluable insights and helped me clarify my goal: to create a social impact business. This led me to apply for the MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management at �ԹϺ�� Business School, a programme that brings together diverse perspectives from around the world. I believe this blend of cultural and personal experiences is crucial for inspiring innovative ideas and building a successful startup.

How does the curriculum align with your career goals?

MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship, & Management is taught by both professors and entrepreneurs, offering a diverse blend of academic and practical perspectives - just what an aspiring entrepreneur needs. The academic material aligns well with current market dynamics, while the entrepreneurial coaching is tailored to help refine our ideas and steer clear of common startup pitfalls.

What networking opportunities have you had since starting your programme?

�ԹϺ�� Business School believes networking is the cornerstone for business success which is why, since day one, I have been attending networking events organised by the faculty. Even if you are an ambivert, like me, you will still enjoy the networking events as they come in various formats from casual after-class gatherings to immersive away days. Whether you are up for small talk or deep conversation, with such a diverse cohort, you will find the right people.

Why did you choose to study MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship, & Management at �ԹϺ�� Business School?

The MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management at �ԹϺ�� aligns perfectly with my goal of becoming an entrepreneurial leader. Its focus on design thinking, strategic management, and practical experience will equip me to drive innovation and positive change.

While my business background provides a solid foundation, I seek the innovation-specific skills this programme offers, from venture creation to impactful collaborations. �ԹϺ��’s mission to cultivate founders and leaders who use business for good resonates with my values.

After graduating, I aim to gain industry experience and ultimately launch a purpose-driven startup. �ԹϺ��’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is the ideal springboard for this journey.

How does the curriculum align with your career goals?

The �ԹϺ�� MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management programme equips me with the entrepreneurial mindset and strategic skills needed to launch a scalable, socially impactful venture. Its modules offer training that prepares me for early roles at top firms while building the comprehensive skill set essential for a future founder.

Modules such as Design Thinking for Innovation will embed the tools needed to apply frameworks learnt to ideate disruptive concepts. The Personal Innovation Development stands out, generating an introspective insight into my knowledge of innovation and personal development to be a future entrepreneur.

Beyond a world-class curriculum, �ԹϺ��'s entrepreneurial alumni ecosystem supercharges my ability to launch a high-impact venture. I'll graduate with an unrivalled strategic toolkit, ethical grounding in sustainability, and the vision to be a catalyst for meaningful change through ethical entrepreneurship and innovation.

What hobbies or interests do you have outside of your academic life?

Outside of academics, I’m passionate about football, having played at a semi-professional level against teams like QPR and Crystal Palace. This experience taught me teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

At �ԹϺ��, I plan to join the women’s football club to stay active and connect with fellow students. I also aim to participate in the Consulting and Venture Capital Clubs to expand my professional network and gain insights into key business areas.

These extracurricular activities will enrich my university experience and help me build valuable skills and connections for my future career.

MSc Global Health Management

The MSc Global Health Management (previously MSc International Health Management) adopts an interdisciplinary approach, extending beyond traditional healthcare management and leadership training. The programme invites students to examine a wide range of interconnected factors—including innovation and technology, socioeconomic and environmental influences, policymaking, sustainability, and data and analytics—that are critical to advancing the future of global healthcare. The goal is to prepare future healthcare leaders with a unique skill set to shape the agenda and tackle complex global challenges across the healthcare sector, whether in private industry, government, international organisations, or healthcare service providers.

Customised pathways within the programme
Following a recent redesign, the programme is structured for the future, featuring a blend of specialised health modules and pathways in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Management, or Economics & Data Science. Towards the end of the programme, students enhance their learning through experiential modules and electives, gaining real-world experience while tailoring their studies. Graduates are prepared to challenge conventional boundaries and drive meaningful systemic change within health ecosystems worldwide.

This year’s class of 138 students represents a vast range of nationalities, with students joining from 26 different countries around the world. 73% of the students are female, with an average age of 23.

Why did you choose to study MSc Global Health Management at �ԹϺ�� Business School?

I am a learner. I chose to learn in London because I wanted to experience living in one of the most diverse and international cities in the world. I chose to learn at �ԹϺ�� Business School because I wanted to be surrounded by some of the brightest minds from around the world. Now, I choose to learn about Global Health Management because I want to discover how I might come to embody the �ԹϺ�� ethos and enable science–as it relates to health– for humanity. Learning is not isolated to lecture halls, and I wanted a phenomenal education that aligns with my academic and career interests as well as the chance to broaden my horizons in a truly cosmopolitan city.

What are your long-term career goals?

Before I applied to study MSc Global Health Management at �ԹϺ��, I spoke with the Academic Director and admitted that I was struggling with identifying my long-term career goals. I knew I had a passion for health and healthcare, but I did not yet know how I wanted to pursue this passion. While I initially believed my uncertainty would be a negative aspect of my candidacy, I was reassured that this programme and �ԹϺ�� are designed precisely to kindle these kinds of interests and help students discover a sense of direction.

Fuelled by the entrepreneurial spirit of �ԹϺ�� and with the guidance of the faculty, I am currently interested in pursuing innovation and entrepreneurship within the healthcare industry. Advisors from the Enterprise Lab are helping me turn a clinical diagnostic assay passion project into a commercially viable startup.

Simultaneously, with the help of �ԹϺ�� Business School Career Advisors, I have been applying to venture capital and early-stage private equity firms that focus on biotech, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare startups. My long-term goal is to pursue a career where I can impact meaningful change for patient populations.

How does it feel to be studying in London?

London is culture. I love exploring the dozens of world class museums–most of which are free entry. Just in South Kensington alone, �ԹϺ�� is less than a five-minute walk away from the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

I love wandering through the variety of food markets that offer cuisines from all over the world. When a food vendor offers me a sample, no matter how much I’ve eaten already, I always say yes. I love immersing myself in the football culture of London: playing, cheering, supporting, crying, elating with others. From Premier League to the National League, I hope to visit as many stadiums as I can throughout my short year here. If life is interesting, London is interesting.

Why did you choose to study MSc Global Health Management at �ԹϺ�� Business School?

Like many others, I entered university unsure of what I wanted to do after graduation. As a result, I chose to study what I enjoyed most at the time, which was English Literature.

Afterward, I completed some internships but still felt the need to develop the fundamental skills required to excel in a business setting, which led me to apply to �ԹϺ��.

The programme structure particularly appealed to me, as it exposes you to a broad range of business functions such as finance, strategy and marketing. While this is common in many MiM programmes, what sets �ԹϺ�� apart is its flexibility: you can choose electives that best suit your interests or specialise in a particular sector.

How does the curriculum align with your career goals?

Before my Master’s, I struggled with the knowledge and confidence to answer technical interview questions. The programme has addressed this in just a few months. The modules encourage a new approach to business challenges, and by gaining a solid understanding of strategy, accounting, and operations, I feel more confident for interviews and ready to start work after graduation.

�ԹϺ��’s Careers resources are also extensive. Before arriving on campus, I had access to the Careers team and booked a 1-2-1 session in the summer to discuss my goals. As a student, I have unlimited access to services like CV reviews, mock interviews, case preparation and group tasks.

How does it feel to be studying in London, what do you look forward to exploring the most?

Growing up in Kent, I was on the edge of London, visiting occasionally. Now, there’s always something to do, and I’m closer to the Emirates, which is a bonus. The campus is ideally located next to Hyde Park, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Science and Natural History Museums. I look forward to exploring museums (most of which are free) and hopefully catching a few Arsenal games.
