As part of London Climate Action Week, this event will bring together leaders from finance, insurance, law, technology, policy, and academia to explore how physical climate risk is reshaping economic security, infrastructure, investment, and resilience. Delivered in collaboration with General Atlantic and Paul Hastings, the discussion will focus on how climate-driven events are changing the way institutions assess risk, protect assets, allocate capital, and plan for long-term stability.Ìý
The session will examine practical solutions for strengthening resilience across the economy, with particular emphasis on the role of data, analytics, risk technology, innovative financing, and insurance structures in improving preparedness and response. Bringing together cross-sector expertise, it will highlight emerging tools, scalable approaches, and opportunities for collaboration to support better decision-making and more secure economic outcomes in the face of climate uncertainty.
The event will also feature a conversation with Abigale Ng, Chief Sustainability Officer at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Chaired byÌýRowan Douglas, Honorary Fellow at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's Centre for Climate Finance and Investment and Senior Advisor at Howden Group.
